Same great fit with the extra warmth
I now have the tapered and straight fit in these pants. They fit great, and I am running the same size as my normal Duer pants, so don’t worry about that. These jeans are comfortable with the below zero temps at the moment.
They held up well during the snow on the weekend, but I was not outside for longer than an hour.

Great for cold weather
I work out doors all year round, the tech fleece and fireside jeans have been a godsend for the winter months.. they are warm, very comfortable, and flexible without being overly bulky like other insulated pants.

More than just denims
I have spent so many uncomfortable minutes over the years trying on ill-fitting jeans/denims that after buying these fleece denims I went back for another pair. They are ridiculously comfortable, and sit/fit really well. The fleece lining is fabulous for chilly days. I'll have to see what happens after washing, as the label had all sorts of warnings about indigo, but for now they are unbeatable.
